Our new family project....our saltwater aquarium:)

This is our newest family project a saltwater aquarium, we set it up on Friday and Kevin did the decorating of it. He did a fine job, I might add. This is going to be a lot of work to keep up, I have to let the tank cycle for at least 2 week's before I can put anything live in it, and I have to do a lot of testing of the water, kinda like a science project( I'm kinda a science geek). I am going to put some live corals in it, seahorse's, starfish, seadragons, pipefish, and star fish. This is going to be a fun project and a great new hobby :) 

Potato Cheese Soup...The best soup ever:)

This is the best soup ever, it was my Favorite as a child I would love when my mom would make this. My mom made it at my request for my baby shower and everyone loved it. So I finally got the recipe and made it myself and my husband love's it and so dose his grandma she ate her bowel of soup really fast tonight. So I feel compelled to share this wonderful recipe I gaurentee that if you make it you will love it,, so here is the recipe.              

  Potato Cheese Soup

1.  Boil 6 to 8 Potato's and cut into small cube's, then boil potato cube's

      in 1/2 qt's water and add 1tsp salt to water.

2.  Sauté until tender in covered 2 qt casserole dish in microwave, 2 medium onion's chopped, 2 stocks celery cut into slice's, 3 carrot's cut into slice's. Add 1/4 cup butter, and 1/4 cup water to casserole dish before sauté vegetables.

3. Add Sautéed vegetables to potato's in the pot of water. 

4. Add and mix well 4 to 5 chicken bouillon cubs and 1 16oz jar of cheese wiz. Then mix together with vegetables and potato's. Then add 1 can cream of chicken soup and 1/2 cup milk.

5. Then add salt to taste, then heat and Serve.

New Red hair:)

So yesterday I went to go get my hair done, I wanted to dye it red aging. I wanted to dye it like the red that I had in the previous picture, the way I had it last year. Well I had dyed it black last year before the wedding so they could not dye it that light cause it was so dark. So I settled on my hair being a darker red. Well it turned out really nice. So me , my husband and our baby all have red hair we are now a family of three red heads.

I was going through some Pictures and found this one of me with red hair about a year ago lol....I was trying to 

dye my hair from a dark redish brown to a blond but I only got this far to this red color, but to no avail I went back to having really dark brown hair...who knows mabey in a few weeks I will go back to Being a red head stay posted heheh:) 

Daddy and Alexander (Like father Like son)

This was such a sweet Picture Kevin had been Holding Alex and trying to calm him down and he fell asleep on his daddy. Alex loves to fall asleep on people Like this it calms him down.

This is a cute picture we had been watching T.V. and Kevin had been holding Alexander and fell asleep with thim. Look at how alike they are when they are sleeping and how cute. You know what they say "Like Father Like Son". It's a good thing in this case since he has a wonderful role model to take after

Alex is helping daddy with his homework:) Alex fell asleep when daddy was holding him, that happens a lot, as you can see Kevin study's a lot what a smart guy:) Hopefully Alex will be smart like both his parent's and study hard like daddy :)

Like father Like son. This will be a good thing since Alexander could not ask for a more loving, fun, good father like kevin is. Alexander is going to be a total daddy's boy. I wanted him to be a momma's boy but look like Kevin will win out in the end awwh well. I love both of you guy's very much :)

Picture. A lot of his facial expressions are like his mother's. Kevin said to Andrea one day "Alexander has a lot of your facil expressions". I guess this little guy is animated just like his mommy, What a goofy pair Alexander and mommy make with their facial expression's!

Alexander from 1- 2 months:)

Alexander Has been Growing at a enourmus rate he is now about 12 pounds. He still has his red hair he gets that both from his mommy and daddy but he has blue eyes that he gets from his mommy. He is eating a lot, he is very couriouse about things and love's looking around. He is very alert he is going to be a smart boy, just like his mommy :) He can already rollover from his back to his stomach, and can hold up his head. That is very rare for a 2 month old to do that, when I took him to the doctor's for his one month check up the doctor was surprised at how fast he was developing and doing things, he is going to be a over achiever lol. He is very determined to do things and doing things ahead of schedule, just like his mommy did at his age. Who knows he might start talking at 8 months like his mommy:) He is getting big so fast I don't want him to grow up to fast :)

I took this picture at my parent's house, I put this dress on him from the girl cloth's they had gotten for his cousin myah who was not yet born. I thought he looked so cute almost like a little girl lol. I got a lot of protest about this picture from his uncle Brent :)

Alexander and his Aunt Jennifer, his Aunt Jennifer had come down from Utah on a special visit to see him.

Jennifer could not get enough of holding him, every chance she got she wanted to hold him and have me bring him over. Well Alexander I guess you have a new Favorite Aunt who can't get enough of you :)

Alexander Lewis Walker

 Our son Alexander Lewis Walker was born at Banner gateway hospital on January 6th at 9:07 Am. He was three weeks early, I was organly due January 31st.  That monday I had gone into the doctors for my one week check up and I was 4 and a half centmeters dilated to the doctors suprisse, and I was only 36 weeks. So later that week on wednseday night I was feeling some pressure in my stomach so kevin took me to the ER, I was 5 centmeters dilated, and not really having any contractions so they decided to keep me and induce my labor with the patosen.  The good thing about this Labor was I timed it just right to get the epidural so I felt no pain. They kept me on the patosen all night, it is suppose to cause strong contractions but it did not with me and when they checked me in the moring before the doctor came in I was only 7 cm dilated. So he broke my water and then said "I am going to go back to my office and be back in a few hours"....well about 20 min later I dilated to 10 cm and ready to push...he came in about a hour. When he was born all the nurse's could not stop commenting on how beautiful he was for a new born he had a perfect round head. Grandma Lewis was there and she would not stop taking pictures. He was premature and yet he was a healthy baby, we were very blessed with a healthy baby boy :)

This is our little angle at one week old we were very proud to have a healthy baby boy. He was so tiny and so

adorable a little red head just like his daddy, he looked a lot like his dad and yet like me. People could not stop commenting how cute he was. We are very blessed to have this preciouses little baby in our family and live's god has truly been good to us in giving us a sweet little baby boy:)

This is our first family picture that we had taken with our son Alexander:) He is Kevin's 5th and my First so he is both the oldest and the youngest. So we are a family now it is very different for Kevin not to have his Kids here so now he has one:)

 This is our first family picture or only Family Picture that we have had taken in the year that we have been married lol. My mom took this picture of us before Kevin's kids moved to Maryland. From Right to left Shaleey...silly girl doing the peace sing..Love you Shaleey...The we have Layton got to love that seriouse look on his face when he is anything but lol..Then we have Jaden the oldest boy and a total sweetheart...and then with the one with the really seriouse look on his face is Carson the youngest at the time in this picture but he always acts older than his age very cute to see when he dose that :) Then we have my Wonderful husband Kevin who is a Wonderful Father to His kids...Then we Have me at five months pregnant and looking terrible lol and in my tummy we have Alexander the youngest/ oldest not yet born. That is the Kevin Walker family about 5 months ago now we have a an addition on to it.

The first post on our family blog :)

Hello, this is my first post on our family blog. I had found a link to this blog space and saw a lot of people were doing it so I thought why not start my own family blog. Here it is 2:30 in the Morning and I am starting a Blog well I am not getting much sleep with a 2 Month old baby so I figured it was something to do :) The funny thing is right now Alexander is sleeping, and so is his father...and here I am in the dark typing away at my new blog lol I guess if the baby wakes up my husband will have to take care of him cause I have been up half the night and I am ready for bed... see ya all later :)
